After finishing service in the United States Navy, I entered the field of woodworking managing the service and parts division of Carpenters Machinery in Philadelphia, PA. When they moved their operation to York Pa I decided not to follow and be more involved in the sales end of the industry where I started selling European woodworking machinery for WoodTech Machinery in New Jersey. Following a brief stint away from the industry I began working in sales for Panel/Wood Machinery in New Jersey and doing so my interest in the closet industry grew. Speaking with Canary Custom Closets, I decided to join managing the retail and eventually the wholesale division in 2006 until 2023 when I decided to start my own manufacturers rep business with partner Steve Seibert offering quality products and support for the Closet and Organization industry.

Born and raised on Long Island, NY, I started working for my father in a general construction and woodworking shop, making me the third generation in woodworking. I opened my own home improvement company with a small woodworking shop in East Northport, where I currently am still located. I closed my company and went into software sales and training for the cabinet business. I then became general manager of manufacturing Murphy Beds and Custom Closets in Brooklyn, NY. In 2007, I was hired by John Canary to be General Manager of Canary Closets and Cabinetry until 2023, when I decided to start my own manufacturer’s rep business with my partner Wayne Coe, offering quality products and support for the Closet and Organization industry.
